The main areas of responsibility include:Portfolio ManagementPartnering with asset class teams to implement strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions, including evaluating & underwriting deployment opportunities in furtherance of overall portfolio objectivesMonitoring asset class valuations, market structure, and macro conditions to contribute to positioning recommendationsAssisting with management of fund liquidity, balance sheet positioning, and tracking of capital inflow / deployment pipelineDeveloping and maintaining portfolio models, performance & risk analytics, and other relevant monitoring / reporting tools for portfolio review meetingsSupporting the onboarding of new partnerships and ongoing client service requirements in partnership with BXCI Institutional Client SolutionsLeading portfolio management process enhancements across automation initiatives, technology buildouts, and cross-function workflow optimizationPortfolio Construction & Asset Class ResearchDeveloping strategic asset allocation approach and customized proposals for multi-asset strategies subject to specific portfolio objectives and constraintsAssisting with research on tactical asset allocation factors and development of allocation signalsConducting research across private & public credit markets, including collaborating with dedicated sector teams to maintain real-time views on asset class dynamics and performance driversContributing to firm-wide asset class reviews and development of sector viewsQualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, have sound judgement and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
