Duties

Help

• You will serve as the Quality Management Representative for the assigned branch in the Facility and Plant Maintenance Division
• You will ensure that the quality management system is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the ISO-9001 International Standard for Quality Management Systems.
• You will report on the performance of the quality management system to the Plant Maintenance Division management for review, and improvement of the quality of the system.
• You will serve as the Branch Cost Center Manager for all performance periods.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the complete range of industrial maintenance planning and execution requirements including reactive maintenance, preventive maintenance, proactive maintenance, corrective maintenance, facility modernization projects, inspection, testing, etc. of a variety of production machinery, industrial equipment, utilities and facilities; 2) Reviewing emerging workload requirements and determine the number of workers, skill sets, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools needed to execute workload; 3) Ensuring that the quality management system is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the International Standard for Quality Management Systems; 4) Determining the appropriate placement of resources using management principles; 5) Utilize subordinate leads and teams to control and manage a variety of maintenance work functions to ensure maximum equipment reliability and readiness while fulfilling the mission of the organization; 6) Determining personnel actions to be accomplished, such as promotions, demotions, appointments, discipline, leave, performance ratings, reassignments, and other supervisory responsibilities.
