Position Overview We are hiring a Senior Implementations Onboarding Associate to serve as the liaison and dedicated resource to Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors as they onboard to Vestwell’s platform. The role focuses on managing onboarding projects, collaborating cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders, and providing expertise on plan design and training. Responsibilities Act as the internal client advocate for plan sponsor and advisor contacts. Manage all aspects of the onboarding process from point of sale through successful transition of new plans to the platform. Coordinate with financial advisors, plan sponsors, prior recordkeepers, and third‑party administrators to determine conversion timelines, key action items, and delivery dates, and communicate overall project status to both external and internal stakeholders. Collaborate cross‑functionally to provide support and ensure service level agreements are met. Requirements Primary qualifications 2–4 years of project‑management experience leading end‑to‑end team initiatives; flexible, creative, team‑oriented, results‑driven, and able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Professional experience using and optimizing internal operational tools (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Asana, Google Workspace); experience helping others adopt best practices, with bonus points for deployment/build experience. Demonstrated aptitude for quick learning, creating, and iterative improvement. Willingness to learn retirement plan design and plan conversion processes from point of sale to release of conversion data. Preferred qualifications General knowledge of ERISA rules and experience with one or more compliance/record‑keeping systems (e.g., SunGard Relius, ASC, FIS). Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or higher ASPPA credential. PMP or similar project‑management certifications. Location: New York City, Austin, King of Prussia, or Scottsdale. The role is part of Vestwell’s hybrid in‑office operation. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $70 k – $80 k, plus performance‑based bonus. Eligible for the Company Bonus Pool and new‑hire equity. Salary bands vary by metro area.
