We're looking for an upbeat, espresso buff to prepare and serve coffee drinks, small bites, and other refreshments at Dram Yard Restaurant, ARRIVE Hotel Wilmington.

Located at ARRIVE Wilmington, Dram Yard offers Southern coastal flavors with a global twist using locally-sourced ingredients in its intimate and thoughtfully designed dining room. This local favorite offers breakfast, barista service, dinner, and weekend brunch. The task at hand:

• You're the friendly face that enhances our guests' experience by bringing your own flavor to the table
• Making sure guests are having a fabulous time, from the moment they arrive until it's time to say goodbye.
• Creating a warm, friendly, and laidback atmosphere that turns first-time guests into regulars.
• Learning our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.
• Taking orders, make espresso drinks, and serve coffee and other refreshments from the bar as ordered by guests.
• Answering customer questions regarding ingredients and kindly make adjustments to milk, sugar ratios, and espresso shots based on preference.
• Working with the team to ensure the coffee bar, restaurant and bar run smoothly with everything in its place. We like to keep things tidy and fun for patrons and our staff.
• Restocking, replenishing, and prepping the coffee bar and side work areas as needed.
• Communicating openly with bar and restaurant managers when it comes to customer feedback.
• Collaborating with the hotel staff to ensure overnight guests visit the bar/restaurant and know about all the great offerings (and promotions!) available exclusively to them.
• Complying with healthy and safety regulations
• Receiving and processing payments

What we're looking for:

• Perform job duties with attention to detail, speed and accuracy

• Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
• Follow directions thoroughly Understand guest's service needs
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
• Work with minimal supervision Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high volume or high profile restaurant
• Flexible schedule must be available to work a variety of shifts Prolonged standing, walking & bending, must be able to push, pull or lift up to 25 lbs
