Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (information available)
• Salary Range: $500,000 - $550,000 annually (based on experience)

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee the Hematology/Oncology Division
• Serve as Associate Medical Director for the Cancer Service Line
• Lead and mentor a team of over 40 academic Hematology/Oncology physicians
• Manage clinical programs, research, and academic initiatives across multiple hospitals and outpatient sites
• Direct the Bone Marrow Transplant Program and oncology infusion services
• Advance cancer research, clinical trials, and precision medicine initiatives
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and academic partners to enhance cancer care delivery
• Maintain a clinical practice (~25%) within the division, providing expert care to patients

What You Need

Required:

• Hematology/Oncology Fellowship completion
• Proven leadership experience in an academic or large health system setting
• Licensure and certifications suitable for practice in Michigan
• Strong strategic planning, research, and faculty oversight skills

Preferred:

• Prior roles such as Vice Chair, Chief, Program Director, or Division Head
• Experience with research initiatives, faculty supervision, and multidisciplinary collaboration
