Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Generally, the work schedule is from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with some variation based on patient needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist. The role involves administering a variety of nuclear isotopes for the purpose of scanning for and detecting pathology while ensuring the regulation and proper functioning of imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administering nuclear isotopes for diagnostic imaging.
• Conducting quality control and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborating with the Radiologist and departmental protocols to ensure optimal patient care.
• Preparing and organizing diagnostic films and images.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine, particularly with cardiac procedures.
• Familiarity with Cedars Sinai software is preferred.
