Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Technician

Radiometer seeks a Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment operates at peak performance in its New Brighton facility. The role involves performing calibration and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. An associate's degree in engineering or 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience, along with strong technical and documentation skills, is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and preventive maintenance including parts replacement and equipment setup
- Maintain accurate records in Computerized Maintenance Management System and equipment history
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams on continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Associate's degree in electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering
- 2–5 years maintenance or calibration experience in medical or manufacturing
- Troubleshooting expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of calibration standards including NIST and ISO 17025
- Ability to read technical manuals and maintain compliant documentation
- Physical capability to lift 30 lbs, use ladders, and stand for extended periods
Compensation: $35–$40 hourly; eligible for bonus/incentive pay
