We combine the power of interactive data analytics, predictive modeling and real-time optioneering to maximize outcomes such as space utilization, operational efficiency and visitor experience.

Your key duties

In this Building Physicist Intern role, you will influence the design of complex high-profile projects and use computational design tools to solve complex inter-connected design problems.

This role offers you the opportunity to make a mark in the following areas:

• Use computational design tools to solve complex inter-connected design problems
• Assist with the development of new tools to optimize our work
• Undertake various environmental modeling analyses, including thermal comfort and daylighting
• Pioneer ideas and showcase industry-leading consulting expertise to prominent clients and collaborators

Your skills and experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or design
• Knowledge of building physics and passive design
• Coursework in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Experience using Rhino, Grasshopper, Ansys, STAR-CCM+, OpenFoam beneficial
• Interest in analytics and design
• Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner
• Internship experience at engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environment
