Behavioral Health Direct Care Worker

As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide in-home and community-based support to adults receiving care services. Responsibilities include:
Serving clients throughout Wayne County, including:
Detroit, Dearborn, Westland, Taylor, Livonia, Inkster, Romulus, Canton, Southgate, and surrounding areas. Apply today - immediate interviews available.
As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide in-home and community-based support to adults receiving care services. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support)
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients with behavioral health and developmental needs
- Transporting clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
- Documenting services accurately using a mobile app
- Communicating with the care team regarding updates or concerns
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone with internet access
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain through agency)
- Experience in caregiving, home care, direct support, behavioral health, or healthcare preferred
- Flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules
- Weekday, evening, and weekend shifts available
