Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university. Eligible for AFJROTC instructor's license; retired from U. S. Air Force. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Air Force JROTC applicants must apply through: Terms Of Employment Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days. Salary Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees. (MIP - Minimum Instructor Pay) Essential Functions Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function. Working Conditions Tools/Equipment Used: Personal computer and peripherals; standard instructional equipment. Posture: Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Motion: Frequent walking. Lifting: Regular moderate lifting and carrying (15–44 pounds). Environment: frequent exposure to sun, heat, cold and expected to work outside. Frequent exposure to noise.
