JSG is seeking an Engineer - I (Assistant) for a client in West Point PA
In this vital role, you’ll support downstream bioprocess purification operations, contribute to groundbreaking projects, and grow your expertise in a collaborative and dynamic environment. You’ll Do:
Assist in processing and refining complex biological molecules using state-of-the-art techniques such as tangential flow filtration and adjuvant/LNP processing. You’ll support laboratory operations, ensure precise data recording, and contribute to process scale-up efforts, helping to drive forward our cutting-edge bioprocessing initiatives .
Required Skills:

• Experience with adjuvant and LNP processing is a plus
• Hands-on experience with tangential flow filtration (microfiltration/ultrafiltration)
• Strong understanding of downstream bioprocess purification and large molecule operations
• Proficiency in wet chemistry techniques: pipetting, buffer prep, filtration, dilution, and stoichiometry
• Ability to document lab work meticulously in notebooks and data management systems
• Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present scientific data

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with analytical instruments (plate readers, densitometers, thermocyclers, cIEF, UV/Vis spectrophotometers, HPLC/UHPLC systems)
• Experience in troubleshooting technical and equipment issues
• Background in method development and transfer
• Familiarity with GMP and GLP laboratory environments
• Laboratory process characterization and industry experience
