Localization Tester - Portuguese (BR)

This is an independent contractor opportunity and ideal for those interested in localization testing who want to work with mobile apps, websites, and digital content in a dynamic, flexible remote environment. Perform manual testing of digital products (mobile apps, websites, games) for language and cultural accuracy Identify translation errors, formatting issues, and region-specific problems Log bugs with clear documentation, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and logs Execute test cases for functionality, integration, and regression testing Communicate findings with QA Leads and follow up on issue resolution Follow all testing procedures and confidentiality guidelines Desired Skills and experience Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese (Brazil) Native language certification or fluency assessments are also accepted Interest in localization and software quality Comfortable using Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS platforms Strong attention to detail and clear written communication Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and/or test case management is a plus Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions Additional Information Job Type: Contract Work Location: Hybrid remote in Portland, OR 97214 Job Type: Contract PLUS QA is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
