Overview Confidential Controller Opportunity | Houston, TX I'm partnering with a highly respected philanthropic foundation / nonprofit organization on a newly created Controller position reporting directly to an exceptional CFO. This is a true right-hand-to-the-CFO opportunity with significant visibility, leadership responsibility, and long-term growth potential. Responsibilities Hybrid Schedule Located near the Galleria Manage and mentor a team Opportunity to help lead a NetSuite implementation High-impact role with exposure to executive leadership Qualifications We're seeking a CPA (strongly preferred) with a well-rounded accounting background who has been exposed to a variety of business environments. While nonprofit or foundation experience is certainly helpful, the organization is specifically interested in candidates who bring broader accounting and finance experience and can introduce new ideas and best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, a process-improvement mindset, and the ability to serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and leadership team.
