Senior Litigation Associate

Seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5 - 9 years of experience to join a at a premier Midtown plaintiff-side firm to closely support a busy securities litigation Partner with a national practice in cases where firm is lead or co-lead counsel. Ideal candidate is ambitious, detail-oriented, and reliable, with a solid litigation skill set and strong work ethic. Experience with plaintiff-side, class action, and/or securities litigation is a plus. Role includes extensive legal and factual research, work with investigators, review and distillation of procedural and court rules, complaint and motion drafting and editing, discovery work, expert work, mediation and case resolution support, papering settlements and overseeing claims administration, and court appearances in a supporting role. Demonstrated reliability and competence over time will result in increased responsibilities and growth potential, including some primary briefing and first-chair argument opportunities. Partner is willing to mentor / share insights.
Salary $175,000-$300,000 commensurate with experience
