About the Position

Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 48 Experience: Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Candidates must have current acute care hospital telemetry experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Description: The unit has 29 beds and a staff of 8. Day shift includes 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. Night shift includes 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. Patient ratios are 1:6, though this is estimated and not guaranteed. Equipment used includes PCA pumps and IV pumps. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Candidates with NIH and Meditech experience will be prioritized. Typical procedures include central lines and medication drips. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and be engaged. Independence and strong critical thinking skills are essential. Patient care experience is a priority. This is a competitive market, and any additional skills will help attract talent.
