Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years in acute care hospital Telemetry License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum one year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience - BLS and ACLS certifications Description: This position involves working in a Telemetry unit with a focus on patient care. The unit consists of 29 beds and is staffed with a team of RNs and Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:6, though not guaranteed. Skills in operating PCA pumps and IV pumps are essential. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. Key procedures performed on the unit include central line placements and medication drips. Candidates should possess a positive attitude and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills. Patient care experience is a priority for this role.
