About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care telemetry experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: Travel RN position in a telemetry unit. The unit has a total of 36 beds and is supported by 70 staff members. Day and night shifts consist of 7 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:6, but are never guaranteed. The unit is equipped with Kangaroo Pumps and utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records. Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude, engagement, and flexibility. Patient care experience is a key priority for this position. Typical procedures performed in the unit include medication drips, bubble studies, and EEGs. Priority will be given to candidates with prior Meditech experience and those with experience in large trauma facilities. The unit offers a collaborative environment with a focus on quality patient care.
