Work Location: San Bruno, CA - Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in the office, Monday & Friday remote)
Payrange- $59-$70/hr
Title: Policy Specialist

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Normal Business Hours

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience

Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for role:

• 1 year of experience in Content Moderation, Trust and Safety, or Legal
• Experience with large volumes of incoming requests
• Experience in cross-functional stakeholder management

Description:

As a Policy Specialist, you work on tasks within the scope of a policy launch, implementation, execution, or cross-functional work project that has meaningful impact with direct supervision. You address day-to-day policy issues by following existing protocols. You exchange information and knowledge with your immediate team or functional area. You develop an understanding of policy development and implementation. Responsibilities include:

• Work within a team to support the development and launch of products, features, and/or processes that promote user trust and uphold our policies with direct guidance.
• Resolve policy escalations from start to finish, with direct guidance.

Minimum role qualification requires proficiency in:

• Language fluency
• Policy fundamentals
• Regulatory process
• Crisis management
• Communication skills
• Stakeholder relations and influence
• Community knowledge
