The contract duration is for 13 weeks with both day and night shifts available. Shifts are scheduled for 12 hours. Experience in the Emergency Room is essential, with a minimum requirement of 2 years. An active New York Single State RN license is mandatory. Candidates must hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Experience with the EPIC charting system is a hard requirement. Routine duties include managing critically ill patients, administering medications, and providing emergency care. The role may involve floating to different areas within the skill set as needed. Registered Nurses are expected to maintain patient ratios of 1:5 for adults and geriatrics. Availability to work every other holiday and weekend is required. The facility provides a safe environment for emergency care with access to advanced diagnostic technologies. Specializations include stroke care, trauma management, and emergency response. Nurses will utilize specialized equipment as part of their care delivery. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. This position is open to first-time travelers and local candidates beyond certain proximity limits.
