About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 4 years required; candidates with 2+ years of experience may be considered. License: RRT certification and BLS required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, ACCS preferred. Must-Have: - Experience with various respiratory care procedures and emergencies. - Strong communication and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Description: This position involves working in a respiratory therapy department. The therapist will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Candidates should possess skills in adult critical care and various respiratory techniques. Proficiency in charting systems is required. Candidates must be comfortable in high-pressure situations and have experience with mechanical ventilation. Ability to float between sections as needed is required. Must be willing to work every other weekend. Candidates are expected to work two out of three winter holidays. Involvement in interdisciplinary support and communication is essential. A proactive approach to patient care is encouraged.
