This role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the discipline to operate within a structured, deadline-driven close process. The Accounting Manager will work cross-functionally to ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and appropriately supported. Key Responsibilities Own assigned components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules. Review accounting activity and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate accounting treatment. Support financial reporting, including reviewing and refreshing reports in Solver and analyzing results for accuracy and reasonableness. Partner with Asset Management, Accounts Payable, plant leadership, and other teams to resolve accounting matters and support accruals. Support external audits by coordinating requests and providing accurate, timely documentation. Identify and resolve discrepancies, elevate issues when appropriate, and ensure assigned close activities are completed accurately and on time. Support process improvements and other accounting projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Demonstrated experience working within a rigorous monthly close process. Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement analysis. Experience supporting external audits. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills; experience with Solver or similar reporting tools preferred. Base salary ranges are designed to be competitive by market and take into consideration individual experience, technical skills and long-term career growth.
