Job Title: Reach Truck Operator

Job Summary:
The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for operating a reach truck to transport, stack, and retrieve materials efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. The operator ensures accurate inventory handling and supports warehouse operations by loading, unloading, and organizing products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a reach truck safely to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload, stack, and retrieve products from high storage racks.
• Pick and stage customer orders accurately.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory by scanning and recording product movements.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory counts.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Work with team members to meet productivity and quality goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience operating a reach truck or forklift.
• Valid forklift/reach truck certification (if required by employer).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Safe operation of reach trucks and warehouse equipment.
• Inventory management and order picking.
• Basic computer or RF scanner skills.
• Teamwork and communication.
• Time management and reliability.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse or distribution center.
• May require working in cold storage, overtime, weekends, or shifts depending on business needs.
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and operating warehouse equipment.
