RN Coordinator - Binghamton General ED & CPEP

Nursing Coordinator Position

United Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join UHS Binghamton General Hospital as a Nursing Coordinator supporting the Emergency Department (ED), Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), and Extended Observation Beds (EOB). This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational coordination to support patient flow, departmental efficiency, and exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency and behavioral health setting. As a clinical resource and role model for staff, you will help foster a safe, patient-centered environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, effective care delivery.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), UHS Binghamton General Hospital

Primary Work Shift: Evening

Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation Range: $44.77 - $67.15 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3PM - 11PM

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Bachelors in Nursing
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience

Preferred:

• Previous leadership experience

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
• CPR within 3 months of hire
• Completion of professional certification in the relevant specialty practice within 3 years.

Preferred:

• Current professional certification in the relevant specialty
