Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment plans
• Administer physical therapy techniques that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about treatment goals, discharge planning, and home exercises
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress according to organizational and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure synchronized patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from a recognized program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not necessary

Skills

• Previous experience is highly preferred
