Job Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and devise tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, fortify strength, and improve balance and functionality
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge preparations, and at-home exercises
• Document evaluations, treatment regimens, and patient progress in alignment with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Education and Certifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialist certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory
