The Opportunity

\n

We are recruiting a Vice President / General Manager on behalf of a well-established, growth-oriented engineering and services company serving the energy and industrial infrastructure markets.

\n

This executive will lead the business with full P&L responsibility, overseeing engineering, project delivery, field services, operations and maintenance, and business development. Working closely with ownership, the successful candidate will drive organic growth, expand recurring service revenue, and help identify and integrate strategic acquisitions.

\n

The role offers a flexible remote/hybrid schedule, with regular travel to company offices, customer sites, and project locations across North America.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction with full P&L responsibility.
\n
• Develop and mentor the leadership team while building organizational capability and succession.
\n
• Drive growth through new services, adjacent markets, and strategic acquisitions.
\n
• Ensure safe, profitable execution of engineering, EPC, construction, commissioning, and O&M projects.
\n
• Grow recurring service and lifecycle revenue.
\n
• Build executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
\n
• Drive KPI-based performance across safety, quality, delivery, financial results, and customer satisfaction.
\n
• Improve scalability across systems, processes, and project execution.
\n
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 15+ years of executive leadership experience in engineering, EPC, industrial construction, field services, manufacturing, or related technical businesses.
\n
• Demonstrated success with full P&L responsibility.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a technical discipline, or Business with strong technical or operations experience. MBA preferred but not required.
\n
• Strong background in project delivery and operational excellence.
\n
• Proven ability to build high-performing leadership teams and culture.
\n
• Experience with acquisitions, integrations, or strategic business development is highly desirable.
\n
• Energy infrastructure experience is a plus.
\n
• Excellent leadership, communication, and financial skills.
\n
• Willingness to travel regularly across North America.
\n
