Road Service Technician

Truck Service TechnicianAs a Truck Service Technician, you will work offsite in a mobile truck to service McCarthy Tire customers with tire and wheel related needs. These needs include, but are not limited to replacing, inspecting, and/or repairing tires to ensure they are road ready and DOT compliant. Additionally, Commercial Tire Technicians will assist with any location/warehouse tasks when they are not performing service calls. These tasks include shop/pad work, loading/unloading retread/scrap trailers, and maintaining a clean/organized facility.Job Description and Responsibilities:Perform service (mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires) and repair work for customers as directed by Service Manager (both inside and mobile)Drive to customer locations or provide roadside service for inspections and tire repair.Responsible for safe operation of company vehicles including compliance with speed and traffic regulations.Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies.Any other duties as assigned.Other duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.Requirements:High School Degree or GED.Minimum age of 18.Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Experience with heavy duty and commercial tires, particularly tire mounting and dismounting.We are willing to train.We invest in our associates for the long term.
