We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician who takes real pride in their work. This role is about more than fixing things. It’s about preventing problems, maintaining high standards across our properties, and ensuring every guest walks into a space that feels ready and reliable. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues, ensuring all homes are guest‑ready and in excellent condition Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies to ensure guest safety and minimize disruption Ensure all properties meet safety, quality, and brand standards Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections Collaborate closely with Property Caretakers and maintenance leadership to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently Work directly alongside Property Caretakers and other Maintenance Techs to support day‑to‑day operations and field execution Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies Address guest maintenance requests quickly and professionally to enhance the guest experience Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician Strong working knowledge of maintenance procedures, building systems, and safety standards (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural) Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess issues and take proactive action High attention to detail and quality of work Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules Clear and professional communication skills with guests, team members, and vendors Comfortable handling invoices, including reviewing, submitting, and tracking maintenance‑related expenses Commitment to responsiveness and service excellence Comfortable using maintenance software, tools, and technology Ability to stay composed and effective in high‑pressure or emergency situations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Compensation, Benefits, & Schedule Hourly Salary $28.00 - $30.00 Bonus This role is eligible to earn a bonus of 4% of annual wages based on company and individual performance Benefits Paid time off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation days Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Retirement benefits or accounts Wellness programs Employee recognition programs Commuting/travel assistance Schedule Wednesday - Sunday; Must be available to work weekends and some evenings Employment Relationship Employment with Seacoast 2 Summit Vacation Rentals is at‑will, meaning either the employee or the company may end the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, subject to applicable law.
