Financial Planning and Design Coordinator with Life Insurance Product Expertise

Job Overview EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is hiring a Life Insurance product, planning and design expert. The role focuses on advising clients on life insurance options, building reviews, and providing world‑class solutions within the insurance and risk management space. Experience with Life Insurance products is required. Location: Remote candidates are accepted with a preference for applicants located near the New York Metro area. Position Responsibilities Support key external and internal clients. Manage multiple, concurrent projects and deliverables. Play an important role in Vanbridge’s growth and management, ensuring connectivity across all communications while guiding and supporting partners in strategy and execution. Strong aptitude in technology and experience with AI, Claude and other tools. Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving skills. Highly customer‑focused, thinking strategically to promote team collaboration. Adept at excelling in a fast‑paced environment with changing business priorities and technological needs. Conduct thorough client consultations to understand financial needs, goals and risk tolerance. Analyze life insurance policies and determine the best fit for clients’ financial plans. Provide tailored recommendations on life insurance policies that align with client objectives. Assist clients with application processes, policy management and necessary coverage adjustments. Educate clients on the benefits and features of different annuity and life insurance solutions. Ensure all recommendations and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Work closely with advisors and other team members to integrate annuity and life insurance solutions into comprehensive financial plans. Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, product developments and regulatory changes. Maintain comprehensive understanding of life insurance industry and individual life products (UL, IUL, VUL, Term, WL). Prepare for client meetings, including paperwork and presentation materials. Deliver correspondence and other client communications. Collaborate with advisors throughout the planning process to ensure completion accurately and promptly. Proactively seek new opportunities and respond to clients professionally. Maintain Carrier product information, rate changes and rules. Desired Skills and Experience Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of related experience. Experience in insurance and financial services. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Expertise in life portfolio. Life, Health, FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 (a plus or obtainable within 90 days). Working knowledge of insurance industry software. Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem‑solving and client service. Proven track record with cross‑training, task‑sharing and supportive teamwork. Innovative, proactive time management and follow‑through skills. Experience in client support, portfolio management, relationship management or paraplanner role within the financial services industry. Diplomacy and strong business acumen, positively influencing others and improving business processes. Advanced computer skills, proficiency in AI, Claude, Microsoft Office and CRM applications. Highly organized and project‑management skills, able to shift and reorganize to accommodate change. Ability to prioritize workflows and deliverables based on advisor and client priorities. Strong teamwork orientation and passion for team success. Confidence, persuasiveness and credibility over phone, virtual meetings and in person. Compensation The national average salary for this role is $65,000.00–$80,000.00 in base pay, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. Base pay is determined by experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
