Radiologic Technologist Interventional/ Cardiac Cath Lab

Radiologic Technologist Interventional/ Cardiac Cath Lab supports cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, operating fluoroscopy and maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Scrub and circulate during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Monitor patient status and maintain safety throughout procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols for staff and patients.
• Accurately document procedures, imaging data, and patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff to maintain efficient workflow.
• Participate in equipment quality assurance and maintenance protocols.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current California Radiologic Technologist license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience required
• At least 1 year of scrubbing experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional setting required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratories
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and interventional procedures
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced procedural environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to patient safety and radiation protection practices
