Leave of Absence Coordinator

Kforce's client in Ballwin, MO is looking for a Leave of Absence Coordinator to provide coverage for a maternity leave assignment. This fully remote, 16-week contract role will support employees and managers throughout the leave administration process, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Summary:The Leave of Absence Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for leave-related inquiries and administration. The ideal candidate will have experience managing employee leave cases, interpreting leave policies, partnering with third-party leave administrators, and maintaining accurate employee records within HR systems.Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with third-party vendors to manage end-to-end leave administration, including receiving, reviewing, approving/denying, and tracking leave requests
• Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding leave processes, eligibility requirements, and policy interpretation
• Record leave information and make necessary time and pay adjustments within the HRIS system
• Assist employees transitioning back to work following a leave of absence and help facilitate a smooth return-to-work process
• Respond to employee questions related to various leave programs and provide ongoing support throughout the leave lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state leave laws, and applicable regulations
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee leave records and documentation

• Previous experience administering Leave of Absence programs
• Strong knowledge of leave processes and employee accommodations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience working with HRIS systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
