REMOTE CONFLICTS ATTORNEY | PREMIER AM LAW FIRM
\nWe are partnering with a premier Am Law firm to hire an experienced Conflicts Attorney to join its established conflicts and risk management team.
\n \nThis is a fully remote opportunity for candidates based in California, New York or Washington, DC . The role will work 1:00–9:00 p.m. PT and is ideal for someone who enjoys sophisticated conflicts work and wants to join a high-caliber global legal environment.
\nThe Conflicts Attorney will join a team of approximately 8 conflicts professionals , including several peers at the Conflicts Attorney level as well as analysts and support staff.
\n \nWhat you'll do:
\n• Review and analyze complex conflicts for new clients, matters and lateral hires
\n• Advise attorneys on legal, ethical and business conflicts
\n• Draft and negotiate conflict waivers and ethical walls
\n• Work closely with partners and the Office of General Counsel on sophisticated risk issues
\n• Provide guidance to conflicts analysts on research, reporting and best practices
\n• Support conflicts arising from both complex corporate transactions and litigation matters
\n \nWhat we're looking for:
\n• JD and active license in CA, NY or DC
\n• Approximately 4+ years of conflicts attorney experience preferred
\n• National or global law firm experience required
\n• Strong understanding of professional responsibility, conflicts and risk management
\n• Excellent research, analytical and attorney-facing communication skills
\n• Ability to work the 1:00–9:00 p.m. PT schedule
