Conflicts Attorney

Job Description

A leading law firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to support conflicts clearance, new business intake, and ethics-related matters. This role works closely with attorneys and firm leadership on conflict analysis and resolution.

Who You Are

\n
• You have a J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
\n
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
\n
• Conflicts department experience preferred
\n
• Excellent communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills
\n
• Able to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information with discretion
\n

What You'll Do

\n
• Analyze conflicts reports for new matters, lateral hires, and intake requests
\n
• Research issues, advise attorneys, and support conflict resolution efforts
\n
• Draft waivers, consents, and implement ethical walls
\n
• Review intake forms, engagement letters, and client guidelines
\n
• Partner with Conflicts Counsel and General Counsel on conflicts-related matters
\n

What Success Looks Like

• Conflicts issues are identified and resolved efficiently
\n
• Attorneys receive clear, timely guidance
\n
• Intake and conflicts processes remain accurate and compliant
\n
• Multiple deadlines are managed effectively in a fast-paced environment
\n

Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 (annually based on experience)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
