Litigation Attorney - Tax Certiorari Practice

Job Description
Our client, a prominent Nassau County law firm, seeks an attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join its growing tax certiorari practice. This position is primarily on-site, with some flexibility for periodic remote work.
\n \nThe firm offers a competitive salary ($100,000-$120,000, DOE), benefits, performance-based bonuses, and a supportive, collegial culture. With no billable hour requirements and the opportunity to help grow a specialized practice area, this position is an excellent long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
\n \nCandidates with tax certiorari experience are preferred. However, the firm will also consider attorneys with backgrounds in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant matters or municipal law, who are interested in developing expertise in this area. Attorneys should be comfortable with court appearances, conferences, negotiations, and case management. Trial experience is a plus.
\n \nThe ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and intellectually curious, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career in tax certiorari. The firm is seeking someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, and is motivated to develop specialized expertise while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
