Partner Attorney | New York / Nationwide | Up to 80% Revenue Share | Remote

AJ Chambers are delighted to be working with a modern international law firm platform seeking established Partners, Partner-level attorneys and senior lawyers with portable books of business to join its growing US practice.

This opportunity is designed for entrepreneurial law firm Partners who have an established client base, a specialist legal practice and portable business, and who are looking for greater autonomy, flexible working and a more direct relationship between the business they generate and their compensation.

Partners can receive up to 80% of their billings, alongside additional referral compensation, international referral opportunities and the ability to build and develop their own legal team.

The platform is expanding across New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, Chicago and Miami, with a broader international network providing cross-border capabilities.

Ideal Partner Profile - The successful candidate will typically be:

• A current Law Firm Partner, Equity Partner, Non-Equity Partner, Income Partner or Partner level Attorney
\n
• Alternatively, an experienced Counsel, Of Counsel or senior attorney with an established practice and portable business
\n
• Practising within a recognised legal practice area
\n
• Experienced handling sophisticated legal matters for business, institutional or private clients
\n
• Able to demonstrate a portable book of business
\n
• Experienced in client development and business generation
\n
• Commercially minded and entrepreneurial
\n
• Interested in developing domestic and/or international legal work
\n
• Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with other Partners across jurisdictions

Portable Book of Business

A portable book of business is required for this opportunity.

The platform is particularly suited to Partners who have established client relationships and can demonstrate meaningful annual billings, originations or portable revenue.

Compensation & Revenue Share

The firm's Partner compensation model is directly linked to the business generated by the Partner:

• Up to $300,000: 70% revenue share
\n
• $300,000-$500,000: 75% revenue share
\n
• $500,000+: 80% revenue share
\n

Partners can also receive:

• 15% commission on work originated and referred to other Partners
\n
• Additional cross-border referral opportunities

• Ability to build and develop a legal team
\n
