We're seeking an experienced and dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. If you're a motivated team player with hands-on orthodontic assisting experience, we'd love to meet you. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work directly with the Orthodontist to deliver exceptional patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, orthodontic knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced practice.What You'll DoAssist the Orthodontist during exams and orthodontic treatments, ensuring patient comfort and efficient clinical flowPrepare and break down operatories, maintain sterilization standards, and support daily clinical operationsPerform orthodontic procedures under direct supervision, including:Placing and removing archwiresChanging elastics and coil springsPlacing and removing bands and retainersCapture digital scans and assist with the fabrication of orthodontic appliances and retainersEducate patients and families on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance careAccurately chart treatment notes and collaborate with the clinical team to provide a seamless patient experienceTravel occasionally to support the Melissa, TX location as neededWhat We're Looking ForOrthodontic assisting experience requiredRegistered Dental Assistant (RDA) required, unless the candidate has several years of direct orthodontic assisting experienceStrong familiarity with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminologyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-focused environmentReliable, professional, and team-oriented with excellent communication skillsWhy Bietsch Orthodontics?At Bietsch Orthodontics, we're committed to excellence in patient care and to supporting the growth of our team.
