The Sales Consultant is responsible for understanding customer wants and needs, providing expert product knowledge, and creating an exceptional guest experience through the sales process. Assist customers in making an informed purchasing decision by providing detailed product information including features and specifications. Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives to showcase the unique features and benefits of different models. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new vehicle models and competitive offerings to effectively communicate product advantages to customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals. Demonstrate proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions and track sales progress Maintain appropriate levels of customer service and client retention by resolving customer complaints or concerns immediately and appropriately; assume ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer Maintain in-depth knowledge of the dealership's vehicles, finance options, and sales process Requirements Exceptional customer service skills, including interpersonal communication and rapport building Active listening to best determine a customer's wants and needs Persuasiveness to convince customers to make a purchase Confidence to create a positive impression on customers Negotiation skills to offer deals that satisfy customers while ensuring profit for the dealership Organization and time management to handle multiple different customers, including past customers, at once Teamwork and collaboration skills to coordinate sales with the financing department and/or other salespeople Knowledge and passion for vehicles Ability to treat all employees with respect and follow our core values Professional, well-groomed personal appearance We are an equal opportunity employer.
