Eden Park Apartments is hiring an experienced Apartment Painter to join our Apartment Maintenance Team in Brooklyn Park, MN. If you have experience with residential painting, drywall repair, apartment turns, make-ready units, and property maintenance, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing: As our Apartment Painter, you'll play an important role in preparing apartment homes for new residents while helping maintain the overall appearance of our community. Responsibilities include: Interior and exterior painting Apartment make-readies and unit turns Drywall repair, patching, sanding, texturing, and surface preparation Wood staining, trim work, and touch-up painting Minor carpentry repairs Remove and reinstall outlet covers, light fixtures, and hardware Caulking and final cleanup Maintain paint inventory and supplies Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to meet move-in deadlines What We're Looking For: 6+ months of professional painting experience Experience painting apartments, residential homes, or commercial properties Drywall repair and surface preparation experience Basic carpentry skills Basic electrical knowledge (switches, outlets, light fixtures) Bathtub or tile resurfacing experience is a plus, but not required High school diploma or GED Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors Ability to work Monday – Friday from 8AM to 5PM Compensation & Benefits: $18.00–$22.00 per hour DOE Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses 401(k) retirement plan with up to $4,000 annual company match Paid training and professional development programs Tuition reimbursement program Paid Time Off: 80 hours during Year 1 120 hours during Years 2–4 160 hours after 5 years 8 paid holidays plus 2 paid half-day holidays or work anniversary off 3-week paid sabbatical every 5 years or stay bonus option Blue Cross medical insurance starting under $50/month for employees FREE dental and basic life insurance Vision and voluntary benefits available for family members Employees are eligible for 20% off rent at any Monarch community, terms and conditions apply Employee referral bonuses ranging from $500–$1,000 Why Monarch Investment: Monarch Investment is one of the nation's largest privately owned multifamily housing companies, managing thousands of apartment homes across the country.
