Buyer

Our client is an organization in the Jefferson County area that’s looking for a Buyer. This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, analytical, and strong communication skills. This company offers a great work/life balance, flexibility, and a collaborative team. This position is onsite. The salary for this job is $24 - $28/hr. The Buyer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage purchasing activities, including supplier quotes, purchase orders, and order follow-up. Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, pricing, and material issues. Maintain accurate supplier, inventory, pricing, and lead-time data within the ERP system. Develop and adjust production schedules based on demand, inventory, labor, and capacity. Coordinate with internal teams to address shortages, scheduling conflicts, and production priorities. Support cost savings, supplier sourcing, reporting, compliance, and process improvements. The Buyer will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 2+ years of related experience. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
