This is a hands-on leadership role combining people leadership, senior technical escalation and day-to-day security operations, ensuring the team consistently meets its service commitments.The team provides technical support across hybrid virtual infrastructures, assessing and resolving tickets by impact and urgency across a broad range of technologies. As Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the team maintains it’s response and resolution SLAs, that the quality of service delivered to the client is consistently high, and that work follows the required processes and is prioritised correctly.The role is hybrid, with two days per week on-site at the client's location in Co. Wicklow and the remainder worked remotely.Responsibilities Include:Team Leadership & Service OperationsUnderstanding the service catalogue, agreements and SLAs in order to route and prioritise tickets to the appropriate team.Training, coaching and leading team members.Supporting the team through difficult or complex issues.Leading team meetings and coaching team members on processes, practices and expectations.Identifying trends and establishing Problems in line with ITIL.Ensuring the team achieves target service levels and taking corrective action as needed.Creating and maintaining processes for the dedicated client team.Running weekly team calls, monthly 1:1s and quarterly performance reviews.Infrastructure, Operations & SecurityActing as the senior escalation point for infrastructure across datacentre hardware, VMware virtualisation, Windows Server and Active Directory, SQL, enterprise storage and backup, infrastructure monitoring, firewalls and networking (LAN/WAN).Managing end-user support escalations across Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune), Microsoft Office, Power BI, Citrix and other business applications.Managing third-party support suppliers across telecoms/WAN, LAN and mobile services.Handling escalations from other internal teams and Professional Services on client tickets and projects.Overseeing change requests and their implementation, including administration of the client's Microsoft 365 tenant.Owning major incident (P1) management and follow-up.Managing day-to-day security operations, including security-operations-centre ticket response, enterprise firewall and web-filtering administration, phishing and incident response, and certificate and secrets management.Owning vulnerability management end to end; scanning, reporting and remediation, and providing security consultancy on client projects.Conducting periodic access and security-hygiene reviews (privileged access, MFA, risky users, secure-score, and inactive accounts and devices) and carrying out identity and access hardening.Co-ordinating disaster recovery planning and testing, penetration testing and remediation, and security-framework audits (e.g. NIST CSF).Managing day-to-day security operations, including security-operations-centre ticket response, enterprise firewall and web-filtering administration, phishing and incident response, and certificate and secrets management.Owning vulnerability management end to end; scanning, reporting and remediation, and providing security consultancy on client projects.Conducting periodic access and security-hygiene reviews (privileged access, MFA, risky users, secure-score, and inactive accounts and devices) and carrying out identity and access hardening.Co-ordinating disaster recovery planning and testing, penetration testing and remediation, and security-framework audits (e.g. NIST CSF).Required Skills and Professional Experience:Leadership or management qualification, or equivalent experience.ITIL certification, or demonstrable experience working to ITIL practices.VMware and virtual environments.Windows Server and Active Directory.Enterprise storage and backup.Firewalls and network security.Networking (switching, routing, LAN/WAN).Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune).Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.Exposure to security operations and frameworks such as vulnerability management and NIST CSF (desirable).Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical leadership role.Your future at PresidioJoiningPresidio means stepping into a culture of trailblazers - thinkers, builders, and collaborators - who push the boundaries of what's possible.
