USA, 6000 Highlands Parkway, Smyrna, Georgia, United States of America Job Description Posted Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 4:00 AM General Purpose: Inspect products and processes at various stages of production to ensure that procedures are followed, and specification requirements are met. Shift(s) Available: 3rd shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) Sunday through Thursday Supervisory Duties: None Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Inspects and tests products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, measurements, and endurance. Documents the results of all inspections. Ensures non-conforming material is handled according to procedure. Can perform gauge verification and, if necessary, calibrations. Reports any deviation to quality leadership. Informs quality leadership of the results of priority inspections. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Successfully prioritize numerous responsibilities. Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Work overtime, as needed. Required Skill/Abilities: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Ability to use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, inspection gauges and other measuring media. Working knowledge of the metric system. CNC or CMM experience, preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word and MS Excel specifically) Soft Skills: Leadership Communication Relationship Management Ethical Practice Critical Evaluation Time Management Analytical Thinking Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED 1-2 years of quality inspection experience 2-3 years of manufacturing/machine operation experience or equivalent industry preferred Licenses and Certifications: N/A Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, and bend. The employee will use fingers and hands to inspect the product. Repetitive lifting of a 1 lb. product is required throughout the shift. The employee is regularly required to lift or lower bins with an average weight of 40 lbs. but could weigh as much as 70 lbs. Personal safety protective equipment is required. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to filtered humidity and temperature-controlled air between 65 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit and sometimes outside weather conditions, which can include sunshine, rain, sleet, and snow, high or low temperature and humidity. Standing and walking back and forth from office to warehouses and other buildings. The employee is regularly required to work in a laboratory environment with inspection equipment and work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation.
