Energy and Infrastructure Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Energy and Infrastructure practice in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy projects, particularly in renewable energy and energy storage, with a focus on energy offtake agreements. Duties Draft and negotiate renewable energy power purchase agreements. Advise clients on corporate PPAs and energy storage offtake agreements. Handle agreements related to carbon removal credits and nuclear offtakes. Manage renewable energy credit agreements and hedging agreements. Work on resource adequacy sales agreements, ISDAs, and EEI agreements. Requirements 3-9+ years of relevant experience in energy projects. Excellent academic credentials and superior communication skills. Membership to the State Bar where the candidate will be located. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications State Bar membership in good standing. Skills Strong negotiation and drafting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent client relationship management.
