3rd Mon-Thurs 8p-630a - Training 1st Mon-Thurs 6a-430p
Starting pay of $22/hr but BOE
Temp to perm position

POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary purpose is to set-up and operate CNC and/or manual machines, deburr product, and do inspection and SPC reports, when applicable, on products being manufactured.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set-up and troubleshooting of all jobs to be manufactured.
Responsible for first piece inspection prior to engineering approval.
Quality control/inspection of parts being manufactured including recording SPC data when applicable and using CMM as an inspection tool when applicable.
Must be able to read and use mics, calipers, height gage and other quality instruments.
Training of operators in machining and quality assurance of jobs being manufactured.
Oversee all operators while they are running production.
Maintenance of machines.
Set-up and operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, saws, grinder and other equipment to manufacture parts and molds.
Responsible for blueprint reading, plans, layouts, and can determine assembly method if necessary and sequence of operations.
Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). An associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Math skills should include solid geometry and trigonometry. Must be able to read blueprints.
Ability to interpret and create a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Some heavy lifting may be required
Submit to background check and drug screen
May be required to submit to respirator exam
