HR Coordinator

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an entry-level HR Coordinator to join their growing People Operations team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career to gain hands-on exposure to recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee records management while working closely with experienced HR professionals.

Day to day, you will juggle scheduling, data entry, and communication with new hires, managers, and vendors, so a genuine love of organization and a service-first mindset go a long way. People who thrive in this role are detail-oriented, discreet with sensitive information, and comfortable learning new HR systems quickly, all while bringing a friendly, approachable presence to every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire onboarding paperwork, background checks, and orientation scheduling
• Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system
• Assist with posting job openings and scheduling candidate interviews
• Respond to routine employee questions about policies, benefits, and procedures
• Support benefits enrollment and open enrollment communications
• Help organize virtual employee engagement and recognition events
• Track and file compliance documents such as I-9s and required certifications
• Prepare HR reports and spreadsheets for leadership review
• Assist with drafting offer letters, employment verification letters, and internal memos
• Support the HR team with general administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• Prior internship or administrative experience is a plus but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee information
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Basic familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is a plus
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace
