Job Introduction Camden Health Improvement Practice is a primary health care service for homeless people and those with substance misuse, alcohol and mental health problems, based in the Borough of Camden. Salary: up to £112,500 depending on experience. Hours: 2 sessions per week (Tuesdays and Fridays). We deliver local primary care at scale and aim to improve access, outcomes and patient experience with a mixture of drop‑in and appointment sessions. Employee wellbeing services including free yoga videos and employee wellbeing app. Main Responsibilities Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery and support the delivery of the surgery’s operational plan. Maintain qualification within the practice, participate in clinical governance activity and contribute to improvement of health outcomes through audit, the Quality and Outcomes Framework and other qualifying standards including CQC standards. Provide clinical care as described in the job plan and in line with the triage model, including consultation sessions (in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, clinical administration, safeguarding, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on‑call (excluding out of hours). Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards set by the GMC and prioritise individual patient care. Support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan – including list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management. Be aware of policy regarding homelessness and its implications for patient care. The Ideal Candidate Current registration with the GMC and NHS performers list and engaged in regular clinical work. An experienced doctor with GP accreditation – MRCGP examination or equivalent. A clear commitment to delivering quality, patient‑focused services. Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and coding.
