Job Details Location: New Rochelle - New Rochelle, NY 10801 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary Range: $4,500.00 - $4,500.00 Commission/year Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Any Iona University seeks applications for the position of Head Club Men's Basketball Coach. Reporting to the Director of Club Sports, the Head Club Men's Basketball Coach is responsible for all aspects of the club program while being committed to the academic mission of the College. The role includes teaching the sport of basketball to student-athletes, and providing coaching, recruitment, and retention of basketball players. Duties and Responsibilities Be knowledgeable of, and abide by, all College and campus policies, league policies, campus recreational policies, and conference/league requirements. Plan, organize, and lead the operations for the club sports program including coaching, fundraising, budgeting, and travel arrangements. Travel with and supervise the team at home and away games to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. Qualifications Have a background in the sport with a minimum bachelor's degree. Grasp current men's basketball strategies and techniques. Possess a valid driver's license. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
