Qualifications:

• Illinois Administrative Licensure
• Completion of State-approved prequalification modules to serve as a Teacher Evaluator before the start date
• Prior teaching and/or administrative experience at the level to be assigned
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable

Compensation:

The entry-level base salary for this position in the upcoming school year is $78,684 for Elementary and $81,515 for Middle School Assistant Principals, plus highly competitive benefits, including 100% Board-paid TRS contributions and 100% Board-paid employee-only health, dental, and term life insurance. There is a minimal employee cost for vision insurance. Additional compensation above the base is offered to candidates based on their number of years of successful teaching and administrative experience. This position is being posted as a district-wide candidate pool to allow interested applicants to express interest in opportunities across the district rather than for a specific school or location. Creating a pool enables the district to identify and engage qualified candidates early in the recruitment process, while providing flexibility to match candidates with current and future vacancies based on district needs. Applicants selected for the pool may be considered for positions at various schools and departments as openings become available. This could be a 10.5-month or possibly a 12-month position, depending on the school location.
