Travel assignment, 13 weeks, 12hr nights, 48 hours a week, starting November 16, 2026.

Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $3,165 a week in all, a taxable rate of $31.78 an hour plus $1,512 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides care to adult and pediatric patients across a broad range of acuity levels, including patients requiring emergency medications, continuous intravenous medications, procedural sedation, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. The position includes night shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and floating when census warrants.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum 48 hours per week; every-other-weekend coverage.
• Required Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse license in New York held in hand at submission.
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
• Required competency in phlebotomy and starting and maintaining intravenous lines.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Provides care for neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care, continuous intravenous paralytics and sedation, intravenous vasopressors, procedural sedation, cerebrovascular accident care, isolation precautions, psychiatric holds, suicidal patients, drug overdoses, splint application, noninvasive ventilation, and obtaining 12-lead electrocardiograms. Patient ratios are approximately 1:5, and orientation includes 16 hours.
