Aligned Talent Acquisition is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Staff Attorney to join its established Litigation practice in Chicago, IL .

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys complex litigation, substantive legal work, and collaborating with experienced litigators on sophisticated matters in state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of litigation experience , including substantive involvement in complex litigation matters.

• Experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other litigation documents .

• Experience managing or assisting with complex discovery in large-scale litigation .

• Experience preparing for and participating in depositions and court appearances .

• Federal court litigation experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

The Opportunity

The firm's established Litigation practice handles sophisticated disputes and complex litigation matters.

Attorneys will have opportunities to:

• Draft and prepare pleadings, dispositive motions, and substantive litigation documents .

• Assist with managing complex discovery in large cases .

• Prepare for and participate in depositions and court proceedings .

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.

• Collaborate with experienced litigation attorneys on sophisticated matters.

• Take on meaningful responsibility throughout various phases of litigation.
