Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Scrub – Georgia

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating shifts with 1:1 patient ratio; weekend rotation discussed during interview; call required typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks; may float within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed

Highlights:

• Work with a comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgical program including CABG, TAVR, VAD placement, carotid procedures, and vascular surgery
• Epic charting system in use
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Rotational weekend and call schedule with advance notice
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
• Orientation hours provided based on contract length with bi-weekly orientation schedule

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state license required at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular/thoracic surgical scrub experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, carotid endarterectomy, AAA repair, VATS, and ventricular assist devices
• Community hospital and trauma experience (Level I or II) preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all documents due Tuesday before start

Additional Information:

Holiday coverage is required based on assignment dates. Request time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission with a maximum of 7 days per contract. Core onboarding items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. Non-billable orientation modules will be completed during orientation and vary by specialty.
